North Carolina Cabin Rental Policies
- Check-in is after 3:30 pm on the day you are scheduled to arrive. Checkout is by 11:00 am on the day you are due to depart. Our housekeepers use the entire interval between guests to prepare the Lake House for the next guests' stay at our North Carolina Vacation rental. Early arrivals and late checkouts are subject to additional charges.
- The Lake House is smoke-free. Smoking is permitted outside. Pets are not allowed unless approved.
- Deposits. To guarantee your vacation rental reservation, we require a deposit of 50% of the entire rental cost when the reservation is made. We must receive the balance at least 60 days prior to your arrival date. If your reservation is made within 60 days of your anticipated arrival date, a 100% deposit is due at the time of reservation.
- Cleaning fees. We expect our guests to leave the rental clean-as-found for full refund of cleaning deposit. We take $150 deposit on most rental stays (more is required for over 4 persons). Please take trash out as you can. There are dumpsters in the Glenville area. There are Washer/Dryer on property.
- Payments. We accept major credit cards including American Express, MasterCard, (xxxx not Discover) and VISA. We require a credit card number to be held as a security deposit for any damages to furnishings or equipment and/or to cover additional cleaning fees as a result of guest neglect or abuse.
- Refunds and Cancellations. Should your plans change and you need to cancel, be sure to contact us to ensure a refund of the deposit paid. Cancellation of a reservation less than 60 days prior to the anticipated arrival date will result in forfeiture of the entire deposit.
- Maximum occupancy is 10.
